...is it legal for me to be back on here posting after taking a teensy, weensy, four-month break? So much has happened in the last four months - as is the case in any one's typical four months - I'd make myself crazy trying to catch up with wonderful and detailed, picture-filled posts. So suffice to say, a lot of stuff happened. Here's a brief list:
*started a little daily photo documenting project: Project Life
l-o-v-e it. Must share soon.
*grandma & grandpa came out to visit for two weeks in February
(I'll blame the initial hiatus from blogging on them because we were having lots of fun)
*had our first test drive for a brand new Odyssey
we've been saving up (!)....
*went to Disneyland (actually, been going a lot)
Grant & Kyle had a unique experience with Woody & Jessie...okay, I'll post pictures of that soon. You've got to see those.
*attempted to go to the Ellen Show
didn't get in but got guaranteed tickets for a future show
*our house was fumigated for termites
had to move into temporary housing for about 5 days
*grandma & grandpa came out again
*Grant's 5th Birthday!
a wonderful Toy Story party complete with bounce house (a first for us!)
*Grant's been sick a bazillion times
*My beloved, cherished, and adored Nikon camera got liquid damage
had to wait an agonizing two weeks for it to be repaired
*were interviewed by a show producer for a Special Olympics TV special to air in May
...the star of it being Grant! More info on that later, but we're excited and nervous
*went back to the Ellen Show
did a lot of dancing, but attended the one show that received no giveaways that week
*then proceeded to lose my cellphone
purchased a new touchscreen phone that is pretty cool for this normally behind-the-times girl
*celebrated Easter
*celebrated the royal wedding by staying up to watch it live like a crazy person
*went to the Scrappin Shack over Mother's Day weekend
had a great time and accomplished many things - amazing
*my mom came out for a visit, hoping to help me with my table at the bi-annual base yard sale, but thanks to heightened security in the wake of us killing Bin Laden, it was cancelled
...and that brings us to today. Phew.
I will be very shortly posting about something that has brought me back to the world of blogging. It involves a wonderful organization and how you can help little children born with disabilities around the world find their future families. It's a cause that has been very close to my heart since Grant was born and I've been excited to recently discover this organization. More information later, but until then, here's the darling face of 5-year-old Preston to consider:
Sweet boy. Great organization.
And that concludes this post. See you again in September...just kidding ;)

Wow, I can't believe how big Grant is! It's nice to see a post from you again.
